Magico Unveils the S7 2026: The Definitive Flagship of the Reimagined S-Series

HAYWARD, CA – Magico LLC, a global leader in high-performance loudspeaker design, has officially announced the launch of the S7 2026. Representing the monumental conclusion to the company’s multi-year S-Series refresh, this 384-pound, five-driver floorstander is engineered to be the ultimate expression of the series' legacy, bridging the gap between high-end attainable audio and the cost-no-object performance of the flagship M-Series.

A New Benchmark in Scale and Precision

The S7 2026 is a significant departure from its predecessor. While it retains the signature curved aluminum aesthetic, the enclosure has been completely redesigned using 3D simulation tools and Laser Vibrometer analysis to eliminate internal resonances. The result is a massive increase in internal volume—from 135 liters to 180 liters—allowing the S7 2026 to reach deeper into the sub-bass (extending response by 5Hz) without sacrificing an ounce of sensitivity or control.

"The S7 2026 isn't just an update; it's a complete ground-up re-engineering," says the Magico design team. "By utilizing our Near-Field Scanner (NFS) system, we’ve created a full 3D acoustic map of the speaker, ensuring phase linearity and transparency that was previously the sole domain of our M-Series."

M-Series DNA: Driver and Crossover Innovation

At the heart of the S7 2026 lies a suite of bespoke drivers that handle the "heavy lifting" with effortless grace:

  • The Highs: A 28mm diamond-coated pure-beryllium tweeter, derived directly from the M-Series, offers extraordinary stiffness-to-weight ratios and ultra-low distortion.

  • The Mids: A 6-inch Nano-Tec Gen 8 driver provides a level of clarity and "ink-black" backgrounds that define the Magico sound.

  • The Lows: Three 10-inch woofers, each featuring a 5-inch titanium voice coil and Nano-Tec Gen 8 cones, deliver authoritative, room-filling bass with massive headroom.

The drivers are unified by Magico’s Elliptical Symmetry Crossover (ESXO), featuring premium components from Germany’s Mundorf and Denmark’s Duelund Coherent Audio. This ensures the five drivers work as a single, coherent voice, maintaining a stable 4-ohm impedance across the frequency spectrum. While the Magico S7 2026 sets a new benchmark in scale and precision using its advanced enclosure engineering, those exploring the upper echelons of the high-end landscape should also consider the achievements of the Wilson Audio Alexx V. Much like the S7's use of M-Series DNA, the Alexx V distills flagship genetic code into a powerhouse of dynamic expression and holographic soundstaging.
