Big Sound, Low Profile: Meet the New ATC SCM105 Pro Series
STROUD, GLOUCESTERSHIRE, UK – December 10, 2025 – ATC Loudspeakers has officially unveiled two new high-performance center-channel active monitors: the SCM105AC Pro and the SCM105AiWC Pro.
Engineered specifically for multi-channel surround and immersive audio workflows—such as Dolby Atmos—these new models distill the core technology and engineering DNA of ATC’s renowned three-way main monitors into a more compact form factor. They are designed to deliver uncompromised clarity and resolution, offering an ideal solution for professional control rooms where space is at a premium.

Derived from the highly acclaimed SCM110A Pro mid-field monitor, both the SCM105AC Pro and SCM105AiWC Pro feature a symmetrical driver array. This configuration ensures stable stereo imaging and consistent tonal balance across a broad listening area, making the "sweet spot" accessible to more than just the primary engineer.
The cabinet features a significantly reduced height profile, specifically engineered for seamless integration into small-to-medium control rooms. This low-profile design allows for easy placement under video displays or directly atop meter bridges without obstructing sightlines.

The SCM105AC Pro serves as the freestanding or stand-mount version of the design. In contrast, the SCM105AiWC Pro is purpose-built for flush-mount (soffit) installation. This model sports a full-width front baffle and a modified rear profile to minimize depth and optimize acoustic coupling with the wall surface.
The AiWC variant is paired with the R1-350 Pro remote amplifier, a 19-inch, 6U rack-mountable unit. This configuration separates the electronics from the cabinet, offering the flexibility to house the amplifiers in a rack or machine room, rather than requiring access behind the wall.

These new releases arrive shortly after the debut of the SCS120 Pro subwoofer, broadening ATC’s range of professional monitoring solutions. This expanded lineup enables recording studios and post-production houses to maintain rigorous accuracy and tonal consistency throughout their multi-channel setups.
