KEF Launches LSX II in Amber Haze and Cotton White
LONDON — KEF has announced the expansion of its acclaimed LSX II Wireless Hi-Fi collection with the debut of two striking new finishes: Amber Haze and Cotton White. Scheduled for launch on December 9, these new additions bring a fresh aesthetic dimension to the all-in-one speaker system, priced at £1,199 per pair.
Building on the acoustic architecture of the original model, the LSX II is a celebration of KEF’s 60-plus years of audio innovation. The system features the brand’s signature 11th Generation Uni-Q® driver array, now optimized by the advanced Music Integrity Engine. This proprietary Digital Signal Processing (DSP) ensures that sound is distributed evenly throughout the room with precise timing, delivering a clearer, tighter, and more natural performance than its predecessor.
Designed for Modern Living The LSX II continues its collaboration with renowned industrial designer Michael Young, embodying a contemporary, minimalist aesthetic. The new colorways were developed following extensive research into global interior trends:
Cotton White: Aligned with the concept of "Soulful Minimalism," this finish represents calm and understated sophistication.
Amber Haze: Reflecting the "AI Metamorphosis" theme, this vibrant hue offers a warm, confident presence in any living space.
Connectivity and Control True to its "plug-and-play" philosophy, the LSX II is designed for versatility. Powered by the W2 Wireless Platform, the speakers offer seamless streaming via AirPlay 2, Chromecast, and Roon, alongside support for major services like Spotify and Tidal.
Beyond wireless streaming, the LSX II serves as a comprehensive audio hub. It features extensive wired connectivity options, including HDMI ARC for TV integration, USB-C for laptops, and an optical input for consoles or traditional sources. A dedicated output allows for the addition of a subwoofer, such as the KEF KC62, for enhanced bass performance.
Users can easily manage the system through the KEF Connect app, which provides intuitive initial setup, room EQ settings, and personalized audio control. The speakers are also compatible with KEF’s S1 floor stands, P1 desk pads, and B1 wall brackets, offering flexible placement options.
